New coach for the Thunder

Dear Player & Parents:
I am excited and thankful that the EGHA has selected me to be the head coach of the Edmonton Thunder for the upcoming season. I am looking forward to joining the EGHA and specifically the Thunder as their achievements and history on and off the ice have been outstanding. I hope to continue the tradition.
Please accept this letter as an extended invitation for you/your daughter to participate at the upcoming Thunder try outs. I want to make clear that one of my goals is to provide a try out for all players that is fair, consistent and professional.
All players will be given every opportunity to earn a position on the team.
Throughout my coaching career I have experience at various levels including; AAA, JR A & college.
Fitness is a very important quality in all elite athletes. I strongly recommend that you prepare yourself this summer off the ice with a solid fitness program and combine it with a conditioning camp in August so that you come to try-outs fully prepared and at your best.
Remember first impressions only happen once!!!

AAA CONDITIONING CAMP
Skaters must be registered with EGHA for AAA tryouts to participate in AAA conditioning camp. Cost for the camp is $125.00 (non-refundable). Bring payment to first skate, do not send fee in with registration package.
Aug. 23 Kenilworth 6:15 - 7:15 pm
Aug. 24 Donnan 9:30 - 10:30 pm
Aug. 25 Kinsmen B 9:00 - 10:00 pm
Aug. 26 Donnan 9:30 - 10:30 pm
Aug. 27 Kenilwort 7:45 - 8:45 pm
Edmonton Thunder Midget AAA TRYOUTS
Skaters must be registered for AAA tryouts. There is a $150.00 (non-refundable) try-out fee.
Aug. 30 Kenilworth 7:15 - 8:15 pm
Aug. 31 Russ Barnes 6:15 - 7:15 pm
Sept. 1 Donnan 9:30 - 10:30 pm
Sept. 2 Millwoods B 10 - 11 pm
Sept. 3 Millwoods A 7:15 - 8:15 pm
